Northumberland Original is a mild handmade cows' milk cheese, which is extremely versatile in the kitchen. A cool, silky texture bursts into a rich, buttery flavour with a satisfying finish. This cheese melts super smoothly, so it is perfect for sauces, on toast, or just as it comes. Original is based on a Gouda recipe. It is matured for 3 months, to develop its delicious flavour.

A full and fruity raw milk cheese, traditionally made to artisan methods. A soft, unctuous texture with easy yet complex, nutty flavours. The cheeses have a very pale yellow center when ripe, which becomes gooey and more flavoursome with maturity.

Beemster old cheese vacuum packed per 150 grams with a nice cardboard sleeve around it. Beemster Old cheese is still given time to ripen naturally.
